Returns Policy

If you place an order with Cladding Direct and decide that you would like to return or exchange it, we will ensure that the process is as simple and quick as possible. Our returns policy, exceptions and returns process are as follows:

Our Returns Policy
Returns Period: If, for any reason, you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 30 days of the date of it arriving with you.

Item Condition: All items must be returned complete, in their original packaging and in an as new / unused condition.

Urgent Exchanges: If you would like to exchange an item and need the replacement quickly, we suggest that you place a new order for the preferred item and send back the original item as a return. On receipt, we will refund the original purchase.

Return Shipping Costs & Method: The costs of return shipping are the customer’s responsibility. We will cover the cost of shipping any new items requested as part of an exchange. We recommend goods are returned using a secure and traceable shipping method as they remain your responsibility until they are received back to us.

Exceptions
Goods made or ordered to your personal requirements & specifications, e.g. Bespoke timber cladding etc. made to your own specific measurements in a particular material. In these circumstances we can accept no returns unless we have not supplied the goods to the specifications given to us by you the customer.

Faulty Items
If an item arrives with you and it is faulty, or if an item develops a fault whilst using it, please email hello@cladding.direct and include your order number, details of the issue and photographs which show the problem. We will then contact you to advise how best the issue can be resolved.

Our Returns Process

  1. Please contact us at hello@cladding.direct to receive further instructions on the address where to send your returns.
  2. Write a note to include with your returned goods, detailing who you are, what your order number is, what the fault is and how you would like the fault rectified.
  3. Send the items to the address provided, using a secure shipping method. – note that you are responsible for goods until they are received by us or our partners.
  4. Once the returned item has been received by us or our partners, we will process the exchange or return within 3 working days.
  5. Any refund that is due should be back in your account within seven working days.
  6. If additional payment is required for a more expensive exchange item we will contact you once the new item is ready to ship.
